Reflection #11
I want to get this project over with. I Have done every thing. The presentation night is tomorrow. I can't wait.
Reflection #10
Last weekend I got all my filming done. I just need to piece them all together, edit, and make a title screen, and credits. I feel like I will be able to pull this off with almost no problem now. I am going to burn it to a DVD. All I want to do next is piece together the movie, and edit. I don't have much to wright about. Except that Evan is a good actor.

Reflection #9
Last week Chase and Even were not able to come over so we could film. I am now planing to shoot the movie next Friday and Saturday. I am cutting this close. I am now done with my annotated bibliography . My poster for my movie will have a red background with big white bold letters Saying Why Me? , My dad will help me with this. I have a very good feeling about presentation night. I think that I will have popcorn. I mean it's a movie. A short film. And maybe some apple pie. Our some soda to. My spirits have been raised by the fact that our computer at home can burn DVD's. This really helps because I only asked for an output when Mrs. Holting asked what we needed on presentation night. I was planing to play it on a DVD player any way.
I am only worried about shooting the movie this weekend. I hope that Even and Chase will be able to mke it this time like they say they can.

Rerlection #8
A couple days ago Mr.Bequest introduced a Google docs format for screenplays(script). So I'm transferring my script to the real formatting. It will take awhile but I think that's it worth it.
It's been awhile since I've met with my mentor. I hope that he's here this time. I am planing to shoot my movie this weekend. I have some ideas for making my script longer and more interesting. I am going to say that chase saw a bit of the news and the killer is an escaped circle Killer from an insane asylum. But the police have cot the killer (or did they). I am also going to add a movie poster and a DVD case. I think that I will do good on this project.

Reflection #7
I am done with my interview. I interviewed Jordan Albertson. I had 11 Questions. I was surprised on how long his answers were. When I showed my answers to my mentor that he said it sounded as if Jordan was actually speaking. Jordan used to live on Whidbey Island. He made a short film for his 8th grade project just like me. He also made the movie called The Standard.
It won the seattle film festival. So I did get a lot of information and tips from Jordan. Like how to use music, add more suspence, and how to just simply make a better movie. I contacked him through my big sister. She new him in high school. Now I also owe my sister for helping me.
I am thinking of ways to make my movie more sespence ful. So I'm going to have The co star die without hi seeing or evan noticing the kill. He dosent notice because the killer is being really quiet and the noise of a shower.

Interview
Interview
For my interview I interviewed Jordan Albertson. He won the Seattle film festival with the movie The Standered. He has also done more movies like for his own 8th grade project. He is from Whidbey Island. And He attended Langley High school. He is currently in L.A working on his new movie called Headlins.
1. What inspires you to write, Or is it just a job?
I's so not just a job. I mean every thing as a kid would be inspiring. And just movies. But the movie that really inspired me was E.T. I remember watching it when I was four years old. And I cried at the end because it was so sad that ET had to leave the earth. And then I asked my mom who made the movie. And my mom said Steven Spielberg. That's how I was mainly inspired to make movies.
2. On a scale of 1-10, 1 being easy and 10 being hard, what would you say to explain what its like to write a script, and why?
45. Its really hard, One of the harder things is character development.
3. What is easy for you when you write a script? Like act 1, or drama, Horror, Dialog, character development, or is it just plain and easy all around.
I don't know. The whole proses is just donting, I usely have a strong act 1, and act 3. I mean you have a kick ass opining and an emotional ending. So I would say that Act 1 and act 3 are the easier parts but still really hard.
4. What would you say is the hardest part?
The whole proses pretty daunting. I can't answer that. Its all hard bro.
5. When or if you do have writers block, what do you do?
I put the pen down and walk away. If it's not there then its just not there. You have to wait till it's there. If it takes a weak or a month. You have to wait till the idea or inspiration is there.
6. How did you get started?
I started when I got serious when I made the movie The Standered. Then right out of high school I packed my bags and went to L.A. Then I got a job working on a Harrison Ford film. And then became independent.
7. How many scrips have you written, and how many have become films, short films, or plays?
Every one has become a film or short film. I have made four so far. The only one that has not become a film is the script I just finished.
8. Is there any script or film that you favor over the rest?
The Standered. I won some awards at the film festival with it.
9. What is your favorite subject to write about?
I always write about drama. Broken characters, people being broken, strange things that happen, mainly a dark drama.
10. If you are, what project are you working on now?
I'm working on a film that has a 5 million dollar budget. I've just finished the script. It took me about four to five years to finish. Its about four friends that live on Whidbey island. The friends then get into Crystal meth. Its going to be called Headlins.
11. What advice would you give to an early writer.
Just write. You need to just write, write, and write. Because if you don't get into it you won't make it. And don't give up.

Reflection #5
The interview is coming up. I have know idea who I'm going to interview. I found out who the dude who wrote the grudge is so I mite interview him. My mom suggested this one dude so I mite interview him. I will ask 8 questions. The book that I started reading is helping a bit. It helped me in this one part of my script.
Reflection #4
I have not gotten a third actor yet for my movie. I don't have a digital video camera. I think I will have to barrow one from Dominik. Maybe I will only use two actors for my project. I am still on my script. I have just started to read a book on how to make the second act better. Like make it more suspenseful. Or more complicated and how to place some of my characters.

Reflection #6
I am almost done with my movie script. All I need is a couple chase scenes and I'm done.I almost have all my interview questions done. I think I need to work on my project a little more often. I know who I want to interview. I will call him tomorrow in order to see if he will do it or not. I will try to start filming my short movie this weekend. My final actors are Chase and Evan. My parents are on board with this so its all cool. I have just finished reading a book on how to make a more suspenseful second act.

Reflection #3
I have changed my project a little. I am changing it to a plain horror film. I am changing the actors as well. I will make my main character to Even. Then the co character to Chase. I still need to find one more actor. Last night I found my inspiration. I can now picture my in tire movie in my
head. I need to change my in tire script now. Its a bummer but I can doe it. I need to work extra hard now. I think I mite call up Alfred Hancock. Maybe I can find his number on Google. I think that I mite use Dominik for the last actor. I named my film. Why Me?

Reflection #2
My project is going good so far. I have made a few changes to my proposal. I don't have a partner any more. I'm now going solo. My old partner was Dominick Brandeys.
The upside is now I get to use my ideas more and I don't have to share. I still don't know who to interview.I should look into that soon. I gust put three books on hold at the sno-isle library.
I'm surprised at how much thought you need to put into when writing a script.

Mr.Snelling
My first proposal was excepted. Form proposal was easy to right. Probably because I knew what I wanted to do for a while. The only part That was hard was the calender. At firs I thought that I had Mr.B But I didn't get him. I got the next best thing. Mr.Snelling. I think that it was a good choice in the end. The first meeting went well. The reason It will still go good with my project is because I am making a movie and Now I have a good assess to supplies and computers. So far my project is going good. I have at least 1 3ed of the script done for the movie. I believe I have spent my time good so far.
